Privacy Policy

apex ("the app", "we") helps motorcyclists record rides and track lean angle, speed and routes. This policy explains what we collect and why. We keep it minimal.

What we collect

• Location (GPS): used to record your ride route, speed, and to match rides to passes. Location is recorded only while you are actively recording a ride. If you create an account, your rides are uploaded to our servers so features like history sync and leaderboards work.
• Motion sensor data (accelerometer/gyroscope): processed on your device to compute lean angle and g-force. Summary values (for example max lean) are saved with your ride.
• Account info (optional): if you sign up, we store your email and a username through our authentication provider (Supabase). You can record rides without an account.
• Payment info: we never see or store card details. In-app purchases are processed by Apple; web purchases are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. Subscription status is managed through RevenueCat.

How we use it

• To record, show and analyze your rides.
• To compute pass leaderboards and badges (only if you use an account).
• We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.

What is shared, and your controls

• New rides are private by default. A ride is visible to others only if you choose to publish it, and you can unpublish it at any time.
• Private account: you can set your account to private, so your published rides are visible only to followers you approve.
• If you publish a ride or post a pass effort, your username and ride stats (score, time, max lean) can appear in the feed and on pass leaderboards, subject to your privacy settings.

Data retention & deletion

Rides are kept until you delete them. You can delete your account and associated data from the app, or email us and we will remove everything.

Children

apex is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country).

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be noted in the app or here.
